While we understand the importance of family vacations, The Firebreak has been designed as a romantic and tranquil retreat, with a focus on providing an intimate and serene experience for couples and individuals.

The ambiance and amenities are tailored to create a peaceful atmosphere, which may not be conducive to a family-friendly environment.

We recognise that children bring joy and energy to many settings, but to maintain the serene and romantic atmosphere that our guests seek, we have chosen to limit accommodation to adults and infants under one year old only. This decision is aimed at ensuring all guests can fully enjoy the quiet and relaxed nature of The Firebreak whilst also ensuring safety on our working regenerative farm.

We appreciate your understanding and are happy to recommend family-friendly accommodation in the area for those traveling with children.

While we appreciate our guests’ enthusiasm for creating memorable experiences at The Firebreak, we kindly request that gatherings or parties be refrained from during your stay. The cabin is designed to offer a tranquil and intimate retreat, ensuring a peaceful environment for all guests.

The decision not to include TV’s in our cabins is intentional. We aim to provide our guests with a chance to disconnect from the digital world and fully immerse themselves in the natural beauty and tranquility of the surroundings. We believe in offering a retreat where guests can unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy each other’s company without the distractions of modern technology.

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at The Firebreak due to the protection of our farm biosecurity.

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is provided in each cabin. While we encourage you to disconnect, we understand that it is sometimes important to stay connected with the outside world.

The tap water at The Firebreak is safe for drinking.

Our water is drawn from natural sources, such as rainwater or reservoirs, and is treated to ensure it is free from contaminants. The absence of additives or harsh chemicals makes the tap water safe for consumption

We take pride in offering our guests access to clean and safe drinking water directly from the tap, promoting sustainability and reducing the need for single-use plastics. So, feel free to enjoy the crisp and pure tap water during your stay at The Firebreak.
